William A. Cook Memorial

This is Will Cook in 1959, the year I was born. Will was born on October 26, 1932 and
passed away on Wednesday, April 9, 2008. He lived to 75 years of age.
I knew Will for the last 8 years of his life. I met Will on the internet.
I visited Will once in 2001. A 2nd trip planned for 2005 fell through at the last minute.

Will lived in Chloride, AZ and Kingman, AZ the whole time I knew him.
He also owned a farm near Wishing Spring, which is near the town of Howes Mill
in Dent county Missouri. His career was as a policeman in St. Louis County, Missouri
in the 1950's, 1960's, and into the 1970's.

In the latter half of 2006 Will's health declined. He moved to an assisted
living place in Las Vegas, NV. The last note I got from Will was a card shortly
after Christmas 2007. In 2008 I called Will, but got the nursing home staff instead.
They would not tell me he was dead, but I deduced that and later confirmed it with his sons.

This was Will's last home. It was in Chloride, AZ.  The white truck was Will's.
